Rojda Sekersöz

As a teenager, Rojda was captured by the movie Billy Elliott, and decided it was director she would become. 19 years old, she was adopted to Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts as the youngest student ever. 2017 she received two nominations at the Guldbagge award for her feature film Beyond dreams, and became Rising star of the year. Rojda feels that she is never as present in life as when she is on set. That presence also characterizes her films, which is always a mixture of poetry, strong emotions and feel good.
