Sonny has spent more time in prison than out. Following his latest six-year stint inside, he’s once again a free man. Whilst behind bars, he secretly started seeing his corrections caseworker Camilla who recommended him for parole.

All Sonny wants is to move in with Camilla and lead a normal, middle-class life. He’s vowed to give up his life of crime, but it’s harder than he thought to keep his word. They’ve spent more than they could afford on their dream house and finding a decent well-paying job isn’t so easy for an old ex-con.

Sonny secretly gets in touch with his old robber buddy to get his cut of an old job. A few small missteps and he finds himself back with one foot in the criminal underworld and the other in suburban family life. 

The question now is how long will he be able to keep up his double life before someone finds him out?
