The series is about the small town of Larstad, where the newly elected mayor Simon Hoffman must save the city from a total collapse. Simon is Sweden’s youngest and most involuntary mayor. Together with his friends (among them, his psychopathic brother) Simon faces problems like mass unemployment, population emigration and the shutting down of local businesses. How will the young mayor and his team deal with this –to say the least– complicated task, without either skills or experience?
